Colorado and Wyoming Honor Gift of Record Number of Donors in 2013  |  January 22, 2014

Donor Alliance, the federally-designated, non-profit organ procurement organization for Colorado and Wyoming, reported a record number of donors in 2013. 463 people received lifesaving organ transplants because of the generosity of 148 donors, representing a 26% increase in the number of organ donors over the last four years.

1,177 tissue donors saved and enhanced the lives of thousands through their donations. The number of tissue donors in Colorado and Wyoming has increased by 32% since 2009.

Colorado and Wyoming continue to hold two of the highest donor designation rates across the country.
