New York Gets Much-Needed Help Via a 12-year-old Girl  |  September 14, 2012

As the sate that houses the most-populated city in the U.S., it’s suprising to note that New York has the second lowest number of registered organ and tissue donors in the country. With ten thousand New Yorkers awaiting life-saving and life-enhancing transplants,  it’s taken a 12-year-old girl to see this problem and inspire others to take action.
